Over more than 15 years, as a disciple of North American B2B copywriters Steve Slaunwhite and Michael Katz, I have written enewsletters for small business owners, including powerful knowledge, advice and calls-to-action (CTAs). One of my past clients includes the Toronto chapter of the Canadian Association of Professional Speakers (CAPS).

Since 2011, I have written my own enewsletter (“Tell Your Story Newsletter”)  on topics of language use, creativity, entrepreneurship, and entrepreneurial well-being, that directly pertain to economic immigrants and may also interest non-native English speaking academics.

eNewsletters, as North American expert Michael Katz writes, are a very powerful form of online marketing, especially for entrepreneurs who share knowledge and professional services. Approximately 25 to 30% of recipients will open a good enewsletter, sent to a house list. That averages from 5 to 10% better than newspaper ads, direct mail or cold-calling.
